Here in Bradenton, we have so many things of which to be proud – the beauty of our city, our proximity to the awesome splendor of Florida beaches, our forward-thinking plan for preserving our downtown’s history while making it viable for all ages to enjoy today.
These days, what I take much pride in is our strength and resiliency – maintaining our city services during this pandemic, our support for our small businesses, and most of all, the courage and dedication of our health-care workers and first responders who continue every day to maintain their commitment to your health and well-being.
This public health crisis is not over. The City of Bradenton continues to consider new steps very carefully. Our most important asset is you, our resident, our employee, our visitor. In that vein, I encourage you to please maintain your healthy hygiene practices – wash your hands, wear a mask, practice social distancing and wipe down surfaces often.
Let’s all do all that we can to weather this crisis successfully. Together we are Bradenton Strong, and keeping that in mind allows us to do what is necessary to be safe and healthy, to tend to not only our physical health but our mental health as well.
Stay safe and healthy and strong, Bradenton. We are here when you need us.
